Approximately half of Mark's runners this season have finished in the first four home. In addition to the winners, we had 55 second-placed horses, 52 thirds and 38 fourths.

Race comment for each winner is noted below:

Imjin River - Kempton, November 19, Ashley Morgan

Always well-placed, came through smoothly in the straight, stayed on well.

His second win in less than a month.

No Rules - Catterick, October 27, Simon Pearce

Thick fog so visibility very poor, but the jockey reported he was always in the first four, stayed on well and won very gamely.

His third win of the season. And a treble for Flint Cottage Stables.

Imjin River - Southwell, October 27, Ted Durcan

Always handy, moved smoothly to the front in the straight, ran on well.

Another two-year-old winner.

Orthology - Yarmouth, October 27, Neil Callan

Always handy, stayed on down the outside in the straight, held on well.

Having finished fourth and second earlier in his career, this was a good win.

Azure Mist - Yarmouth, October 20, Jimmy Quinn

Always travelling easily, took it up at the furlong pole, won nicely.

Third three times and second once this season, it was another well-deserved win.

Number One Guy - Yarmouth, October 20, Jimmy Quinn

Bumped badly at start, pulled hard mid-race, good progress from the distance, held on well.

Another two-year-old winner and his win took Mark in to the lead as top trainer at Yarmouth this season.

Drum Dragon - Catterick, October 17, Ashley Morgan

Settled mid-division, smooth progress entering the straight and won very easily.

Her second win of the season; she has also finished third at Epsom and fourth at Haydock since her previous win.

Ted Spread - Goodwood, October 11, Jimmy Quinn

Always reasonably handy, took it up at the furlong pole, stayed on well.

Another two-year-old winner, and another winner bred out of a mare that was based at Dullingham Park.

Theola - York, October 10, Jimmy Quinn

Mid-division, progress entering the straight, stayed on determinedly to win well in the end.

Her second win of the season (see her Pontefract win last month).

Khayar - Warwick, October 5, Darryll Holland

Always led, quickened up in to the straight, stayed on well; very game.

Having finished in the first four 4 times previously this season, it was a well-deserved win.

Dazinski - Nottingham, September 30, Ted Durcan

Settled well on the inside, smooth progress in the straight, stayed on determinedly to win going away.

This is his sixth time of being in the first three home and is his second win of the year.

Forgotten Army - Newmarket, September 19, Jimmy Quinn

Always prominent, quickened down in to the dip, stuck his head out for a game victory.

Just one of the six two-year-olds in Mark's 2009 ownership scheme, which has proved to be a success (another being the winner Watch Chain).

Theola - Pontefract, September 17, Jimmy Quinn

Settled well, smooth progress entering the straight, stayed on well.

She has also been second twice and third twice this season.

Dulcie - York, September 06, Ashley Morgan

Always travelling well, moved smoothly to the front at the furlong pole and stayed on well.

From seven starts, this game filly has now finished in the first three 5 times.

Astrolibra - Southwell, August 27, Ashley Morgan

Always travelling well, went to the front early in the straight; won easily.

Astrolibra and Ashley Morgan were also a winning combination twice last season.

Watch Chain - Southwell, August 27, Ashley Morgan

Behind early, good progress halfway, hit the front at the furlong pole and stayed on well.

Our first two-year-old winner of the season.

Indian Skipper - Folkestone, August 23, Ted Durcan

Held up going well, burst through against the rail inside the final furlong, won going away.

Second twice and also fourth this season, it was a well-deserved win.

Dazinski - Chester, August 22, Nicky Mackay

Always well-placed, moved smoothly to the front on the final bend and stayed on well.

Only out of the frame once this season, Dazinski was back to winning ways.

Marvo - Hamilton, August 19, Ashley Morgan

Given a good ride, he cruised through on his favourite soft ground and won easily.

The third win for Marvo this season.

Astrodonna - Yarmouth, August 12, Ashley Morgan

She has also been placed second twice, third and fourth this season alone.

A 50/1 victory and another winner bred at Dullingham Park.

My Girl Jode - Yarmouth, July 20, Tom Queally

Always well placed, took it up two out to win in style.

She went on to be second at Doncaster just a few days after this win.

Omokoroa - Catterick, July 16, Liam Jones

Mid-division, smooth progress entering the straight, stayed on well.

Omokoroa has also been placed second and third on his two previous runs of the season.

Astroleo - Southwell, July 15, Nicky Mackay

Always in the leading quartet, took it up in the straight, stayed on gamely.

On this day only one of our seven runners was not in the frame as we also had two seconds, a third and two fourths. Astroleo has also been placed third twice on his two previous runs.

No Rules - Doncaster, July 9, Simon Pearce

Always travelling very easily, took it up early in the straight and stayed on well.

No Rules also won in the spring and has been third and fourth this year.

Drum Dragon - Hamilton, June 30, Saleem Golam

Always handy and, although not liking the fast ground, she stayed on well.

Drum Dragon was also second in June.

Marvo - Doncaster, June 14, Tom Queally

Tracked the leaders, edged out at the furlong pole, won going away for the second time this year. Let's hope it will be a hat-trick!

This was the second win of the season for Marvo (see Pontefract win below).

Outland - Yarmouth, June 11, Adrian McCarthy

The heavens opens which was a great blessing, always travelling well behind the front-running favourite, took it up at the furlong pole and strode away to an easy victory. This will have done his confidence the power of good.

An exciting 50/1 victory and has since been placed second at Hamilton on unfavourable ground.

Inchpast - Ripon, June 3, Neil Callan

Settled mid-division, always travelling well, took it up with two to run, strode clear and eased inside final furlong.

Another great win for this eight-year-old (see below).

Inchpast - Goodwood, May 29, Tom Queally

Pushed along half way, he responded to a good ride to win comfortably in the end.

Marvo - Pontefract, May 22, Seb Sanders

A decisive victory. Settled mid-field, smooth headway and won well.

Everyone was delighted when Marvo, survivor of a colic operation, was back to winning form.

Triumph at last for this consistent horse. Given a positive ride by last season's champion jockey.

From 17 starts, Locum has finished in the first four 12 times (placed 2nd four times, 3rd four times, 4th three times).

Blessing Belle - Hamilton, May 3, Saleem Golam

In rear early, good progress two out, stayed on well.

A win on her first time out this season after only three previous starts as a two-year-old.

Mystery Star - Goodwood, May 2, George Baker

Settled early on, took it up a furlong and a half out, quickly went clear.

Tremendous winner of the opening race for the season at Goodwood; since finished second in a dead-heat at Epsom on Derby Day.

No Rules - Yarmouth, April 14, Liam Jones

Given a positive ride, took it up early in the straight and stayed on well.

At Yarmouth this day Mark had four runners: No Rules won, Mystery Star and Astrodiva were second and Daredevil Dan was third. Mark has been in the top five trainers at Yarmouth for the last two seasons.

Benedict Spirit - Southwell, January 6, Ashley Morgan

Another good performance by both horse and stable apprentice to start the year well.
